I have always had a strong interest in people, behaviour and learning and after college I successfully graduated with a BSc Hons in Psychology. I then spent a number of years working in learning and development roles in various professional and educational institutions in London.

With an understanding of learning theory and passion for making learning fun and rewarding, I started to consider how to combine this skill set with my passion for animals.

I was then lucky enough to work at one of the UK’s largest dog and cat rescue centres, helping to care for, assess and train dogs for rehoming. I also volunteer at the UK’s largest animal welfare charity, walking and training dogs .

Having seen first-hand the many dogs and puppies that end up in rescue, I am really passionate about developing positive connections between puppies and humans to ensure as many as possible stay in their forever home for a life time!

With the right training and socialisation, having a new puppy can be a fun filled enjoyable time for puppy and the entire family.

My Complex Canine’s mission is to help new owners give their puppies the best possible start in life, to grow into happy dogs, that will live out their days in their forever home as part of the family.

Be kind, learning is about trial and error.

Celebrate success in every situation, even if you have to dig a little.

Be flexible with your dreams and adjust to what works.

Have fun, find what you enjoy and do more of it!
